By Yuli Atta

Hiya guys, today I'm talking about the two K-dramas I recently started watching. I'm behind on writing about the dramas I've been following but I'm getting there. Today I'm going to talk about the 2 newest ones that I've started and then I'm going to make a list of dramas that I want to watch after them.

The weirdest BL drama I've watched so far

By Yuli Attta

Hi guys! Today I'm talking about a certain BL drama I recently finished watching and how weird it was.

For those of you who don't know, BL stands for 'boys love'. I don't know how popular of a genre it is if you aren't looking specifically for it but it seems to have a big market in Thailand because they come out with multiple dramas a year. I recently finished TharnType and Until We Meet Again which aired last year and were completed early this year. I loved both and I've watched many more before. I'm currently watching Why R U? wich I'm obsessed with and 2gether which I'm also obsessed with. Thre's another currently ongoing show called My Engineer that I'm yet to watch but it's on my list.

BOOK REVIEW: Thorn by Intisar Khanani

By Yuli Atta

Thank you to Readers First and the publisher for providing me with an early copy of the book.

Soooo, I don't know how to review this book. I didn't expect to like it at all but I actually fell in love with it. It's certainly on the 3.75 side rather than a solid 4-star rating but still. I enjoyed it a lot.

BOOK REVIEW: The Empire of Gold by S. A. Chakraborty

By Yuli Atta

Actual rating 4.40 because while I found the ending satisfying, I would've loved to see a few things done slightly differently but I will talk about that in a minute.

Oh my god, where do I even start?

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this book. It made me very happy and means a lot to me.

K-pop News: #WeStandWithTheRose

By Yuli Atta

Hey guys, today I'm going to share what has currently been going on with one of my favourite K-bands, The Rose. Initially, I wanted to share multiple stories but this one became too long so this is it. The way I'm doing this is by first showing you the unbiased story and then sharing my opinion on it.

The Rose files for termination of their contract with J&Star Company

The K-pop band The Rose has filed for a termination of their contract with the company J & Star Company after not being paid for 3 years.

Recent DNFs: New Fantasy Releases

Master of Sorrows by Justin Call

This started out well enough and it was actually interesting to me for a long time. However, as I didn't see the plot progressing for 300 pages I gradually lost interest. I got to a point where I skipped 40 pages and I didn't miss a thing.

MINI REVIEWS: LGBTQ+ books

By Yuli Atta

Only Mostly Devasted by Sophie Gonzales

So, I actually don't have too much to say about this.

I really enjoyed it. The story was good and it deals with a lot of serious stuff and I liked the way it was done.

It deals with grief, the possibility of losing somebody you love, feeling ready to come out, PCOS I think it was called, etc.
